She develops conscious companies, impact funds, regenerative real estate, and wellbeing technologies, and mentors emerging leaders as a speaker and teacher at institutions like Duke University, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, Visa Ventures, and Hult International Business School.

Louis Spanias
Louis is an Associate Director of Sustainability for Cumming Group, an international project management and cost accounting firm. For over a decade, Louis has led award-winning sustainability, decarbonization, and climate adaptation plans and projects for cities, counties, public agencies, and joint authorities across the United States.
Through his work, Louis aims to build community-wide climate literacy and strengthen partnerships between communities and their government to bolster their resilience to the impacts of climate change.

Annie Zaro
Annie is an experienced environmental impact professional with a Masters in Environmental Policy and Planning through the University of Michigan, currently working as a business operations leader in the retail industry. She is passionate about cultivating the intersection of business and social and environmental impact and empowering communities to build climate resilience. Her own journey to build her understanding of climate change mitigation and adaptation and concern for the sustainability of current and future generations globally have inspired her to join FCC, where she intends to support current and future generations to navigate their own climate literacy and resiliency journeys.

Julian a business strategist with expertise in cleantech and high tech sectors. He has advised companies like ZeroAvia and Halophase. He also has executive experience at Google Cloud, Enova Financial, and McKinsey & Company, with a focus on scaling disruptive businesses. Julian has held leadership roles in several nonprofits and startups.

Alex Tkacz
Alex is the Associate General Counsel at Resource Innovations, Inc., an energy transformation software provider, where he handles legal matters like intellectual property, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance. With over nine years of in-house counsel experience in IT, medical devices, and energy sectors, Alex focuses on providing proactive legal solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities like backcountry skiing and mountain biking with his family.

Dan Ruby
Dan Ruby is currently a consultant for community development in southern Oregon, working on affordable housing for school families and staff. He serves as an elected member of the Ashland School Board. He has prior roles as community college foundation Executive Director, CEO and director of science museums, and higher ed faculty and administration. He served on the Career and Technology Education advisory board for the Washoe County School District in northern Nevada, was president of several non-profit boards, built a hands-on student engineering program in partnership with teachers at magnet academy, participated in NASA-funded research, taught digital media and communications at the college level, and is a published Earth and space science researcher.Description goes here

She holds a master’s degree in strategic communication with a focus on sustainable behavior change.
