  • Leah Rice

    Leah Rice is the Social Media & Communications Intern at Future Climate Collective, channeling her passion for environmental education and climate literacy to lead efforts in branding, social media strategy, and marketing initiatives. Leah is a skilled communicator with a strong foundation in environmental studies and applied ethics, earned through her degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. As a young adult living through the climate crisis, Leah recognizes how deeply climate anxiety can drain motivation and energy amid ongoing environmental challenges. Leah is committed to leveraging her communications skills to promote environmental education, mitigate climate anxiety, and elevate initiatives that foster meaningful climate action.Leah currently lives in San Diego and embraces the beautiful weather by running along the coast, relaxing at the beach, and spending time in the sun with friends.

    Alex is a student at UC Berkeley studying Environmental Economics & Policy with a minor in Climate Science. Originally from Los Angeles, Alex brings a deep passion for the intersection of climate action, policy, and social equity—a perfect match for our mission.

    With experience in both grassroots environmental activism and policy research, Alex is excited to dive into meaningful climate work with us this summer. When not thinking about systems change, you can find Alex reading, playing guitar, or hiking.Description goes here

  • Noah Sher

    Noah Sher

    Noah is a rising sophomore at the University of Chicago, where he is pursuing a double major in Sociology and History. He is passionate about supporting efforts to educate communities on climate change, resilience-building, and adaptation — with a particular interest in making climate information more actionable and locally grounded. At Future Climate Collective, we believe that investing in smart, dedicated young leaders like Noah by giving them hands on opportunities to make an impact is one of the most important ways we can build a hopeful, sustainable future. Outside of his academic and climate work, Noah enjoys reading nonfiction, practicing Muay Thai, and rock climbing (top rope and bouldering).
