Why Future Climate Collective?

In communities across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, young people are growing up in a time of climate disruption, ecological loss, and social uncertainty—while facing a growing disconnect between the world they’re inheriting and the tools they’ve been given to navigate it.

The key to building a more resilient future lies in equipping the next generation with the knowledge, strength, and collective power to lead change.

Future Climate Collective partners with teens, educators, and local organizations to foster climate literacy, emotional resilience, and systems thinking, so that young people can understand the world they’re living in and shape the one they want to create.

We provide tools, training and mentorship to help teens and their communities start conversations, take action, and build the resilience and agency they need to thrive in a changing world.

We build the case for collective resilience—where facing limits doesn’t mean losing hope, and where youth voices are central to designing a future rooted in possibility.

At the heart of our work is inclusivity and intergenerational collaboration—unlocking the potential of young people to become catalysts for transformation in their schools, families, and communities.
